This blanket is totally sweet and amazingly soft. The blanket arrives in a simple zipper‑style plastic bag, and while it looks nice right away, there’s no tamper protection, which is something I really look for with baby items. Inside, the blanket is tied with a braded Bleu La La ribbon, and the presentation outside of the plastic bag looks good. It has a clean, neutral smell, basically no scent at all, which I appreciate.Cardbaord tag attached to the ribbon says "Designed in the USA Made in China". I like the blue color a lot, its a true pale sky blue, not a turquoise.The blanket itself is extremely soft, and gets even softer after washing. My LO loves it, and I feel better knowing it's organic cotton. I got a lot of compliments on it last weekend at the local bakery, which is the local mom, baby and kiddo hangout around here. (I live in a small town. We do what we can and its rainy outside these days.) The blankie is lightweight but still warm enough for snuggles, as even though it's a very "fine" lightweight knit material. It has that cozy, luxe vibe that I really like.It’s knit in what looks like a tiny cable stitch, very small and delicate. The standout detail is the little stuffed bear head that's attached. It’s sewn on securely, looks charming, and the ears are the perfect size for LO's hands to grab onto.The blanket is labeled as 100% organic cotton, and there’s a small Bleu La La tag on one corner. The edges have a sweet scalloped trim that makes the whole thing feel more special. The overall look and feel are soft, gentle, and gift‑worthy.For washing, it holds up well really well so far. I put mine in a mesh bag, wash it on cold, and dry it on a gentle setting. It does shrink a teeny bit, but it keeps its shape overall. Taking it out before it’s fully dry and reshaping it by hand helps it return to its original size and look. So far it's been durable enough for daily use and frequent washing, and I love that it gets softer each time I wash it!My only real complaint is the packaging. For an organic cotton baby blanket, I wish it came in a box or at least a paper envelope instead of plastic. People who choose organic usually prefer packaging that matches that mindset. And without any kind of seal, there’s no way to know if it was opened before it reached me, which matters for baby items.As a gift, it’s still lovely, just expect to buy a separate gift box or tuck it into a basket. At around $25, the price feels right for the quality, softness, and overall presentation.
